We believe that Reading and fluency in Maths is of paramount importance and helps pupils access the whole curriculum.  To this end, homework at Mendlesham Primary is:

• EdShed - spellings are issued weekly by class teachers
• Times Table Rockstars - multiplication practice helps quick recall when completing different operations
• Stick and Split - tons of highly visual mathematical play to get children multiplying and dividing fluently
• Reading for pleasure - reading every day promotes fluency and comprehension.  This should be the book that is sent home with your child from school and can also include sharing a story and discussing its content.   

Additional homework may be issued by class teachers depending on the need within the class and can be found on each class page.
