Choosing a school is a very important process for parents and children alike.
We hope our website, together with our prospectus, will give you the information that you need to make your decision. However, if you have been unable to visit the school at an open event or would like a further visit, please contact the school and we will arrange a tour. In-Year Applications 2024-25
In-year applications will be handled directly by the school. Please complete the In-Year Application Form which can be found on the link belowAdmissions for 2025-26
Admissions for 2025-26 will be subject to the Admissions Policy of the John Milton Academy Trust. The 2025-26 policy has been included in the Local Authority admissions details.
September 2025 - Reception Intake
The national closing date for applications is 15th January 2025. All applications should be made to Suffolk County Council. The easiest and most secure way to apply for a school place is online at www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissions.
The National Offer day is 16th April 2025, and you will receive notification by email or letter from Suffolk County Council.
Admissions for Year 6 Transferring to Year 7 - September 2025
Stowupland High school is a founding school of the John Milton Academy Trust. Admission arrangements for Year 6 students moving into Year 7 are conducted, on our behalf, by Suffolk County Council (SCC).
The national closing date for Year 7 applications is 31st October 2024. All applications should be made to Suffolk County Council. The easiest and most secure way to apply for a school place is online at www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissions.
The National Offer day is 3rd March 2025 and you will receive notification by email or letter from Suffolk County Council.
Admissions for 2026-27
Admissions for 2026-27 will be subject to the Admissions Policy of the John Milton Academy Trust.
