Residential 2026 - Derbyshire

Children from Chestnut Class at Mendlesham and Eagle Class at Bacton enjoyed an exciting residential visit to Derbyshire, giving them the opportunity to explore a very different landscape from the Suffolk countryside.

During the trip, children visited the Heights of Abraham, including a fascinating tour of the underground caves, explored the stunning house and gardens at Chatsworth, and rounded off their adventure with a visit to the National Space Centre on the journey home.

The residential provided a fantastic opportunity for children to broaden their horizons, learn outside the classroom and create lasting memories with their friends.
